Sina Niemeyer is an award-winning photographer and visual lens-based artist from Berlin, Germany.

Her work is best known for her unique way of synthesizing different media and material such as photography, video, text and archive material. In her independent projects she tackles stories of violence, loss and trauma, power structures and the unseen.

In 2018 she was selected as one of the most promising newcomers in German photography. The year after she was nominated for the C/O Berlin Talent Award in two consecutive years. In 2020 she was invited to join FUTURES, a European photography platform for emerging artists.

Sina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography. Moreover, she regularly gives lectures on her work, teaches and completes assignments and research for German magazines as well as NGOs. Her work is part of several private collections and the Foundation of German Sparkasse Lüneburg.

Sina is a member of Women Photograph, Female Photoclub and Fotobus Society.
